AlgoTrips for ChatGPT and Claude

From idea to a booked trip, in minutes. Use AlgoTrips inside ChatGPT or Claude: describe a trip, and AlgoTrips builds a day-by-day plan with live prices for flights, hotels, activities and transfers. You get one link to see the trip, change it and book it on algotrips.com.

What it can do

  • Plan a trip: tell it the cities and nights, the start date, who is travelling (adults, and children’s ages) and the city you fly from. A trip takes about 3 to 6 minutes to build.
  • Check a trip: ask if your trip is ready. You get the total price, each city’s nights, hotel (with star rating and guest score) and number of activities, and the link.
  • Your trips: see the trips already in your AlgoTrips account.
  • Destination facts: a short overview of a city or region and a link to its full guide.

What it cannot do

  • It cannot book, pay or change a booking. You book and pay on algotrips.com.
  • It cannot see your payment details or traveller details (names, passports).

Connect in ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Plugins, and add AlgoTrips.
  2. Sign in with your AlgoTrips account (email and a one-time code), then choose Allow.
  3. In a chat, ask, for example: “Use AlgoTrips to plan 5 nights in Bali from 10 March 2027 for 2 adults flying from Delhi.”

(Until the store listing is live, ChatGPT users can add it by hand in developer mode with the address https://api.algotrips.com/mcp.)

Connect in Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and add AlgoTrips. (By hand: Add custom connector, address https://api.algotrips.com/mcp/account.)
  2. Sign in with your AlgoTrips account, then choose Allow.
  3. Ask Claude to plan a trip with AlgoTrips.

Sign-in and permissions

You sign in on algotrips.com, never inside the chat. When you allow access, the assistant can see your trips and quotes, read the destination guides and plan new trips in your account. Each new trip counts toward your plan’s monthly trips (3 on the free plan). You can disconnect at any time in AlgoTrips Settings, under Connected apps.

  • “Plan 4 nights in Tokyo and 3 nights in Kyoto from 2 April 2027 for 2 adults and a 7-year-old, flying from Mumbai.”
  • “Is my trip ready?”
  • “Show me my AlgoTrips trips.”
  • “What is the best time to visit Kyoto?”
