Zhangzhou

Zhangzhou is a prefecture-level city in southern Fujian Province in southeastern China, sitting on the coast near the Taiwan Strait. It covers 12,600 sq km with a population of around 5 million, and carries more than 1,300 years of history as a centre of Minnan (southern Fujian) culture.
