Zabid

Zabid is a historic town on Yemen's Tihama coastal plain, inland from the Red Sea between Hodeidah and Mocha and southwest of Sana'a. Its walled old town of mudbrick and whitewashed houses, ornate carved wooden doors and geometric plasterwork made it a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.
