Xining City

Xining, capital of Qinghai Province in northwestern China, is the largest city on the Tibetan Plateau and the primary gateway for Tibet train journeys. Sitting at 2,275 metres elevation, it is a melting pot of Han, Hui Muslim, Tibetan, Tu, and Mongolian cultures.
