Vientiane Prefecture

Vientiane is the capital and largest city of Laos, a laid-back Southeast Asian capital on the banks of the Mekong River. Unlike many regional capitals, Vientiane retains a sleepy, charming atmosphere with golden temples, French colonial architecture, riverside markets, and excellent café culture.
