Sonsonate

Sonsonate is the capital of Sonsonate Department and the second most important city in western El Salvador, sitting inland about 45 km west of San Salvador, just south of the Ruta de las Flores highlands and a short drive from the Pacific coast at Acajutla and Los Cobanos.
