Somnath

Somnath (also called Prabhas Patan) is a sacred coastal town in Gujarat on the Arabian Sea, revered as the site of the first of 12 Jyotirlingas (the holiest Shiva shrines in Hinduism). It combines pilgrimage, mythology, coastal scenery, and archaeology.
