Skaftárhreppur

Skaftárhreppur is the South Iceland municipality whose main settlement is Kirkjubæjarklaustur, a village of about 180 people on the Ring Road between Vík í Mýrdal and Höfn, roughly 250-260 km and 3-3.5 hours from Reykjavík.
