San Felipe

San Felipe is a remote, non-municipalised area of the Guainía department in Colombia's Amazon basin, sitting on the banks of the Guainía River (known downstream as the Río Negro) close to the Venezuelan border. It is described as a historic border town where black waters meet dense Amazonian jungle.
