San Cristóbal Island

San Cristóbal is the easternmost island in the Galápagos archipelago and one of its oldest geological formations (formed roughly 2.4-4 million years ago). It covers about 214 square miles (558 sq km), making it the fifth-largest island, and is home to around 6,000 residents.
