Rhodope Mountains
The Rhodope Mountains (Rodopi) are Bulgaria's most expansive mountain range, stretching across south-central Bulgaria toward the Greek border. A world of waterfalls, thermal spas, ancient cave systems, medieval fortresses, traditional Rhodopean villages, and gentle forested mountain slopes.
