Rajshahi

Rajshahi is a green, unusually calm city on the north bank of the Padma River in northwestern Bangladesh, close to the Indian border. Known as the 'Silk City' for its jacquard sari looms and as 'Education City' for the University of Rajshahi, it is the divisional capital of Rajshahi Division.
