Potosí

Potosí sits at roughly 4,067-4,090 metres in the Bolivian altiplano, making it one of the highest cities on earth, and it is built entirely in the shadow of Cerro Rico, the 'rich mountain' whose silver once bankrolled the Spanish Empire.
