Pahalgam

Pahalgam, the 'Valley of Shepherds', is a scenic hill resort in Anantnag district of South Kashmir at an altitude of 2,200 meters, approximately 90 km (2.5-3 hours) from Srinagar. It sits along the Lidder River surrounded by pine forests, apple orchards, and snow-capped Himalayan peaks.
