Nkhata Bay
Nkhata Bay is a small fishing town of roughly 15,000 people on the north-western shore of Lake Malawi, in Malawi's Northern Region. Built around a deep natural harbour ringed by forested hills that drop straight into the water, it is the country's best-known backpacker and diving hub.
