Myitkyina

Myitkyina is the capital of Kachin State in Myanmar's far north, sitting on the west bank of the upper Irrawaddy at the end of the country's longest railway line and roughly 25 km downstream of Myitsone, the river confluence that gives the Irrawaddy its start.
