Mokhotlong
Mokhotlong is a highland town in north-eastern Lesotho, sitting above 2,200 m on the upper Senqu (Orange) River and counted among the highest permanent settlements in southern Africa. Its name means 'Place of the Bald Ibis', for the bird that nests on the cliffs nearby.
