Lao Cai

Lao Cai is Vietnam's far northwestern frontier: a province of 3,000-metre peaks, terraced valleys and ethnic minority markets that meets China's Yunnan at the Nam Thi river, and a border city of the same name that functions as the arrival hall for the whole region.
