Kaédi

Kaédi is the capital of Mauritania's Gorgol region, sitting on the north bank of the Senegal River in the far south of the country, roughly 435 km (7 hours by road) from Nouakchott and about 135 km from the Rosso border crossing. Population is around 56,000-64,000.
