Hiroshima Prefecture

Hiroshima Prefecture sits on the Seto Inland Sea at the western end of Honshu, and holds two UNESCO World Heritage sites within 45 minutes of each other: the Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima City and Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima, with its vermilion torii standing in the sea.
