Galkayo

Galkayo (Gaalkacyo) is the capital of the Mudug region in north-central Somalia, sitting roughly halfway between Bosaso on the Gulf of Aden and Mogadishu on the Indian Ocean, with a population around 120,000 drawn from both Darod and Hawiye clans.
