Funafuti

Funafuti is the capital atoll of Tuvalu and one of the least-visited capitals on earth. Almost everything happens on Fongafale, a ribbon of coral islet about 12 km long and in places only 20 metres wide, with the enormous turquoise lagoon on one side and the open Pacific on the other.
