Denizli is a provincial city in southwest Turkey, 20km from the world-famous Pamukkale ('cotton castle') travertine terraces and the ancient Greco-Roman spa city of Hierapolis. Pamukkale is Turkey's most visited natural site (2+ million visitors per year) and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
