Dali

Dali is a historic city in Yunnan Province at the foot of the Cangshan Mountains overlooking Erhai Lake. The ancient walled city was the capital of the Nanzhao and Dali kingdoms over 1,000 years ago and remains home to the Bai ethnic minority.
