Cairns is a tropical city in Far North Queensland, Australia, positioned at the intersection of two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Great Barrier Reef (world's largest coral reef ecosystem) and the Daintree Rainforest (world's oldest continuously surviving rainforest at 120+ million years old).
