Bluff

Bluff (Motupohue) is the southernmost settlement on mainland New Zealand, 30 km south of Invercargill in Southland. The township nestles beside a 265-metre conical hill that gave the place its name, and looks out across Foveaux Strait toward Stewart Island / Rakiura.
