Bhimtal

Bhimtal is a serene lake town in the Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand, sitting at 1,370 meters altitude. Named after Bhima (the Pandava warrior), Bhimtal Lake is actually larger than the more famous Naini Lake in nearby Nainital — but with a fraction of the crowds.
