Búzios

Armação dos Búzios is a chic beach resort town on a narrow peninsula in Rio de Janeiro state, roughly 170 km and 2.5 to 3.5 hours east of Rio city. Once a quiet fishing and whaling village, it was discovered by Brigitte Bardot in 1964 and has been the 'St Tropez of Brazil' ever since.
