Avalon

Avalon is the only incorporated city on Santa Catalina Island, a mountainous island 22 miles off the coast of Southern California. It is a compact, pastel, Art Deco harbour town wrapped around a small crescent bay, backed by steep canyons and reached by ferry or helicopter rather than road.
