Aswan

Aswan is Egypt's southernmost major city, situated at the first cataract of the Nile River. Slower-paced and more relaxed than Cairo or Luxor, it is known as a picturesque, laidback city with significant Nubian cultural presence, spectacular ancient monuments, and the famous Aswan High Dam.
