Alicante

Alicante is the capital of Alicante province on Spain's Costa Blanca, a Mediterranean port city of about 381,000 people (2025) built around a bay at the foot of Mount Benacantil, crowned by the medieval Santa Barbara Castle 166 metres above the sea.
